The individual in this position is responsible for the analysis, design, development, maintenance, product implementation, troubleshooting and provide end-user product support. Client supports and use various analytics and report writing tools to provide solutions to the customers. Tools to be supported by the individual are Crystal ReportsR, and DiagramR Custom application development tool. The QueryR product suite is comprised of Impromptu R, PowerPlay R and VisualizerR, which are CognosR Business Intelligence tools. The DiagramR system, a separate module in Tiger, it is a design tool that allow end-users to create user-defined custom screens and reports. These custom applications and associated data use custom fields to capture or display and report against this information. A combination of these tools is used to support Tiger, EMR, Vision and Professional EHR clients. Connect to Health Job Requirements: Responsibilities: . Produces high quality code to create various types of custom screens and/or reporting solutions. . Produces programmer and client documentation for each custom request. . Evaluates the technical custom specifications for feasibility of custom coding. . Acquires in-depth knowledge of Allscripts product(s) with the ability to interpret custom project requirements. . Participate actively in team meetings and technical code reviews. . Demonstrates a service oriented approach to our customers and internal clients. . Job Requirements : Experience/Qualifications: . 2+ years experience using Business Intelligence reporting tools or software development, either as a design analyst or developer; Cognos Reporting tools or Crystal Reports is desirable . Experience with Windows programming languages i.e. Visual Basic, Windows Excel Macros highly desirable; . Experience with Microsoft SQL ServerR, . Knowledge of relational databases and basic understanding of SQL . BS Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Healthcare Informatics or other relevant combination of training and experience. . Experience with Windows OS, and Unix OS environments highly desirable; . Experience with Medical Billing information systems and/or Electronic Medical Records (EMR), strongly preferred . Excellent verbal and written communication skill's . Strong analytical skills and excellent customer service skills; . Proven ability to meet established deadlines and work independently . Work effectively in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment and demonstrates ability to lead team projects . Strong presentation skills .
