BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Extensive knowledge of physical database design. Experience with installations and upgrades of Oracle server software, creating databases, database objects, users, roles etc. Experience loading and managing large volumes (millions of transactions) of data into a database, as well as with data replication techniques. Experience with Dataguard and Streams Production experience Experience managing large databases (1+ TB) of data stored in the database. Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and guidance.
