Interface with a variety of technical teams, internal as well as third party, as required by specific projects Build strong relationships with parties outside of ASA including software vendors and industry peers Maintain expertise in current relevant technologies, evaluate features and products for use in future web solutions, and provide recommendations Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices and partners with the appropriate IT organizations All other duties as assigned BA or BS in Computer Science or related discipline; Masters preferred. 8+ years proven ability and experience in architecting, designing, and developing enterprise-class web-based solutions preferably in a SOA architecture or in a distributed systems environment Familiarity with Student Loan Industry, Financial Education Industry, and/or Educational Web Software a plus Experience in building scalable 24x7 operation *QUALIFICATIONS:* Has developed Enterprise class solutions in a Windows or Linux environment Brings expert hands on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies Proven experience designing complex software from the ground up that includes heavy database CRUD operations Ability to work equally well in software architect, designer, or implementer roles.
