Project will require the gathering and understanding of terminology requirements for applications, interface engines, ESB, and database systems for Mayo environment. Complete Description: Enterprise Terminology Services Project is a master content management system for medical terminologies and code sets. The project has two configurations: authoring and runtime. The architect role will be used to analyze, design, and develop an architecture for implementation in the Mayo environment. Runtime services will include publish/subscription, notification, browse, query, bulk distribution, and discovery. Major areas of assessment include applications, interface engines (e.g. CloverLeaf), Enterprise Service Bus, and service enablement. Role will include assessing current technologies deployed at Mayo and adjust architecture design for implementation at Mayo. Four deliverables or artifacts are required: 1) Architecture Overview Diagram and Description Document 2) System Context Diagram and Description Document 3) Usage/Consumption Services Specification Diagram and Description Document 4) Physical/Operational Models and Description Document General skills for an architect include: teamwork, communication, business process analysis, system integration, system and data modeling, broad experience in multiple IT technologies with deep expertise in at least one, preferably more than one.
