Role Description:
looking for an experienced technical leader with a deep background in
MOSS/SharePoint development.
This person will be the lead developer responsible for the technical
direction and quality of a public facing web site encompassing marketing
content management and interaction with other systems within the
environment.
The right candidate will be the primary person responsible for providing
technical direction (not Project management direction) and support to the
web dev team.
The web dev teams will have the candidates deep daily involvement, through
all phases of the project (design, build, test, and deploy). This includes
design, design review, code implementation and code review of the artifacts
produced by the team.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for the component inventory
including setting up gates and process for components to move from one
development stage to the next. Finally the candidate will be responsible for
tracking and escalating technical/architectural issues which face their
team. This person is expected to work with minimal direction but will be
supported by the technical architecture team.
Key Technology Skills:
-It is very important to emphasize that we are looking for Content
Management skills with public facing MOSS based web sites.
We will not assess those with who've only worked with internal collaboration
sites.
- Deep skills with most facets of MOSS 2007 that includes:
oWeb part development oContent management structures and usage
oCustom lists, columns, layouts, and master page development
-Proven ability to design and review designs for public facing web sites
-Ability to determine where and how to leverage MOSS components integrated
with an HTML web page
-Proven ability to review the code of others and provide solid feedback
