Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Oracle Developer Position: 1 Duration: 4+ months Location: Chicago, IL Interview: Immediate Note: E-Commerce exp. is a major plus Description: Provides vision, expertise and technology-based solutions in long range planning in the area of systems architecture. Serves as resident expert to conducts studies, investigate the latest technology developments and analyze impact of current and future system requirements. Recommends technology, drafts and presents proposed corporate policies, drafts and presents proposed procedures, practices and standards. Ensures that new initiatives conform to the firm's long term strategic goals. Establishes good working relationships with peers and outside organizations. Qualifications: - Oracle development experience - 5+ years - Expert knowledge in Oracle 10g and above, in a Unix environment - Must be comfortable with backup/restore, installing, updating, monitoring and tuning multiple Oracle databases. - Strong hands-on development experience working with Oracle SQL & PL / SQL - Strong UNIX skills and shell scripting and ORACLE tools (sqlloader, export, import) - Strong documentation skills and be able and willing to document all procedures - Proficient in analyzing data to meet the business need - Excellent analysis skills, able to interact with team members to derive and interpret business needs - Mature design, coding, testing and debugging skills - Experience with offshore or offsite models a plus Thanks & Regards Acer Mc Entellects Corp.
