Need to have 6+ years of experience and ability to lead an offshore team. *Position # 2-: SCADA Infrastructure Engineer* LOCATION: Santa Barabara, CA Duration: 6-12 Months POSITION SUMMARY: This motivated individual will be responsible for designing and implementing the infrastructure and network for client Farm SCADA systems throughout the world. Primary responsibility will be to oversee infrastructure in clinet location, CA to ensure adequate performance and maximize reliability for cutting edge data collection and analysis applications. Provide recommendations for technology improvements or oversee contract labor for highly specialized initiatives or infrastructure improvements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead design and implementation for continual improvement of Central SCADA Infrastructure Manage local infrastructure or develop procedures and documentation for administration of a Windows Enterprise environment with Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, Domain controller, routers, switches and system security Manage system security and oversee regular maintenance and patching. Assist in the design of SCADA and Wind Turbine hardware infrastructure relating to sensor integration and remote communications. Other duties as needed and assigned. ESSENTIAL SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE: MCSE or equivalent 10 years Infrastructure and Network experience. Hands on experience with applications, database and network production support. Microsoft Server and SQL system integration experience. Experience with Server Clustering and SAN administration Experience with integration and application of Cisco technology Computer expertise in MS Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Able to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously. Strong organizational skills required. Positive attitude. VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 3 years of Experience with Microsoft Cluster Services (MSCS) and Microsoft SQL clustering running EMC SAN and brocade fiber switches. Experience with firewall administration and overall network security Cisco Certification: CCNP and/or CCSP Solutions and results oriented.
