The candidate should have PM experience for a build out of 12,000 square feet of raised floor (white space) and roughly 1000 servers. There may be some travel to Windsor CT. but will be based in Boston and Marlborough (50/50) split * * *· Qualifications * Candidates should have experience in the following areas. · Specific experience managing IT Infrastructure (Communications, Server, Operational, etc.) related projects · Training in advanced use of Microsoft Project and project management methodology · excellent analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail · Understanding of IT/Operational ‘best practices and frameworks', such as, ITIL MSF, MOF, CMM, CMMI · Able to manage large complex group-wide projects; prioritise and evaluate alternative project strategies; present & justify proposals to group management; provide leadership; organize multi-function project teams. · Consensus builder -- Manages expectations, understands business to address needs, defines impact of project changes/services, defines project & service delivery standards to ensure high quality deliverables · Team Building Skills -- Must have leadership skills to develop commitment and maintain momentum on multi-function projects with virtual team members. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact & negotiate across WMC functional groups · Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead using influence and persuasive argument · Financial services experience is also highly desired. · Proficiency with MS Excel · Exposure to MS Project Server and/or People Soft · Flexibility in dealing with rapidly changing project demands · Ability to lead highly technical people in a supportive manner · This position will be located in our Marlborough and Boston, MA office. · Bachelor degree required, masters preferred.
