Candidate should have in-depth knowledge writing and managing scripts run in UNIX environments, full development lifecycle for AbInitio development, etc. Responsible for the design, development and administration of transactional and analytical data constructs/structures. Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies. Includes expertise in data mining, Extract Transform Load (ETL), design and documentation of data movement schemes, and mapping between applications. Usually includes experience in Ab Initio or other ETL products. The environment needs the candidate to have an understanding and experience in DB2 Environment, DB2 Utilities, COBOL Stored procedures, Teradata development and UNIX scripting. Education: A bachelor's degree or above in MIS, Computer Science or related field. Skills Required: 5+ years Technology specific experience (multiple technologies) Develops advanced domain specific technology solutions and guides their development into a final product. Works independently Data mapping experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.) ETL(using Ab Initio) experience in implementation and design (5+yrs.) Demonstrated ability to lead end to end ETL project and team 5+ years experience in full life-cycle of data warehouse projects and Operational Data Stores Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels Experience with DB2 V8 or V9 on z/OS platform COBOL and DB2 SQL coding experience on z/OS platform COBOL DB2 Stored Procedure coding experience on z/OS platform TSO/ISPF experience ChangeMan software development experience Experience using scripting languages such as Korn Shell. Knowledge of MDM concepts, data analysis, data warehousing and enterprise applications desired.
