Identify and analyze user requirements and recommend appropriate applications or modifications. Candidate will be lead DBA with following skills: - Oracle DBA administration experience on day to day activities like Backup, Recovery, Monitoring - Expertise in using Stats Pack , AWR Reports Analysis and Performance Tuning. - Expert in SQL (PL) development for Oracle high demand OLTP/Reporting applications with huge volume. - Significant experience with Oracle DDL scripting. - Significant experience with Oracles PL/SQL packages (DBMS_*, UTL_*) - Extensive experience with Oracles SQL Loader - Extensive experience with Data Transfers/Sharing using Flat Files, DB Links, Web Services - Experience with large databases with high transaction volume in a fast-paced, production environment - Unix Shell scripting experience. - Experienced on Oracle Advanced Concepts like Parallel Execution, Using Optimizers, Flash Recovery, Advanced Compression etc. - Demonstrated knowledge of interdependencies between Oracle security and Linux security - Oracle Certification preferred - Working knowledge of Linux OS, ETL processes, data modeling concepts both relational and dimensional, UNIX shell scripting Responsibilities include: . Ensure high availability, optimum performance, and assured security of the Oracle 11g RAC environments . Perform code migration in accordance with established change management processes . Enforce version control and change management processes to support internal and external audit requirements . Participate in technical interchange meetings . Adhere to contribute to and enforce development standards . Work with the development teams to optimize ongoing performance . Proactively monitor and report on system performance . Provide trend analysis to enable informed decision regarding capacity planning and optimization strategies . Escalate issues to development teams, other support organizations and third parties as appropriate.
