*POSITION *
*Sr. Software Test/QA Analysis/Lead* - The candidate filling this position
will participate in a software testing department’s internal software test
data generator/data scrubbing tool evaluation initiative for one of our
premier international media clients in Minneapolis, MN. The Senior Test
Consultant/Lead is responsible for the creation of the Tool Requirements
Document, and act as an overall facilitator of a disciplined tool evaluation
process as outlined in the project’s statement of work. The Senior Test
Consultant/Lead will interview technical and Subject Matter Experts; perform
system analysis; diagram system work flows; and oversee the creation of the
test scripts used for tool evaluation. This candidate will be in charge of
the entire test data generator/data scrubbing tool evaluation process that
will support test departments within our client’s development organization.

*Experience and Education*
*Essential Experience and Capability* -- This position requires:
- 5+ years of QA and test experience, including test leadership
- Experienced in leading and managing* tool evaluation* projects
and approaches for tool evaluation applications
- Experienced with* facilitating* requirements gathering joint
application development (*JAD*)* Sessions* to* elicit tool
requirements* from end users
- *Project management* and* test lead* experience
- Be able to read use cases and business requirements and write
test cases
- Ability to analyze complex applications and develop test cases
- A Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Computer Science (or equivalent
experience).
- Very competent Windows application user skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to communicate on a technical as well as a
non-technical level.
- The ability to understand applications from a technical and
business perspective.
- The candidate to be a proven team player with strong
interpersonal skills possessing a demonstrated ability to
handle multiple
projects with varying priorities.
- Ability to make sound decisions based on business, technology,
and QA guidelines.
*Preferred Experience and Capability* – The preferred candidate will have
one or all of the following in addition to all the experience and capability
listed above:
- Any experience in Test Data Management
- Any experience in test data generation and data scrubbing best
practices and industry techniques
- Prior experience in solving large scale software test data
security issues by applying off-the-shelf software tools
including many of
the leading test data generator tools like File-Aid from
Compuware, or test
data scrubbing and management tools like Data Subset and Data
Privacy from
Informatica
- Skilled at examination and analysis of typical business workflow
scenarios
- Ability to execute manual test scripts and report on test
execution status.
