Position: Reporting Data Analyst/BSA
Location: Plano, Texas
Duration: 6+ months (Might turn out to be a PERMANENT POSITION)
Rate Range:$40.00/1099
*Will travel the first few months - travel weekly - (paid for by cap one
bank) to Bethesda, Maryland during the transition period.*
*Primary Needs identified:*
- *Great Communication-*this person will communicate within the IT team
but also out to the broader customer/business partner team. He/she needs
good comprehension skills and the ability to understand and articulate their
requirements and convert into reports.
- *Mortgage knowledge. * The quality of work done by this person will be
driven by Mortgage business knowledge, in addition to coding or database
knowledge.
*Role responsibilities:*
- Responsible for the generation, distribution, admin and support duties
for reports that are currently in production and all new report requests
- Lead the effort to transition existing reports to a new analytical
environment, engaging impacted groups, as needed.
- Identify existing gaps in the current process (report extracts)
- Create a new map for the data feeds
*Technical Skills:*
- Understanding of Data Warehouse and ODS (Operational data store) usage
to create reports
- Understanding of general database and reporting infrastructure
- Has experience building automated reports with the following tools:
- Knowledge Share (for DW reporting)
- SQL Report Builder (for building reports from SQL database/server
with access front end)
- MS Visual Studio (for building reports from SQL database/server with
access front end)
*Travel to Bethesda, Maryland will be required weekly during transition
period. *
