Candidate must be able to analyze and develop versatile applications in a dynamic multi-platform environment, when provided with specifications, as well as be part of an evolving new application strategy for MBUSA IT-Vehicle Sales systems. The candidates must be familiar with Full Lifecycle Development projects. The candidate will be required to work in team environment. He or she will be expected to participate in review/writing requirements documents when necessary, develop and support robust mainframe CICS/COBOL/DB2 applications as well as, efficient and versatile Stored Procedures (both SQL and COBOL) Candidate will also be required to work with other IT support areas to provide maximum performance out of the new functionality and conform to corporate and industry standards. Unit / System / Performance / Integration Testing and possible test case generation may also be required. Must have good Communications skills both oral and written. Must be motivated and a self-starter with a minimal amount of direction. Adaptable to an Ever-changing IT landscape as priorities change with the business. *Knowledge and Skills:*** * *Online CICS application development ( COBOL ) as well as experience with mainframe batch processing utilizing industry standard COBOL and JCL .
