*Location: albany, NY* *Duration: 6 Months* *Web Application Developer* Project_Summary Design, develop and implement a web-based application that will route customer applications to the proper facility. Description_of_Position The Web Application Developer will work as part of the client development team. Duties include planning, designing, coding, implementing and documenting processes and functions in the web application. The incumbent will document application and reporting requirements, and work closely with the client team to facilitate testing of the application. Description_Must_Have Design and code from requirements and functional specifications; Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement web application. Work with the UNIX System administration to ensure smooth and correct operations of the web services used by the application. Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support. Demonstrated strong hands-on experience with web service development in JEE environment, including XML/XSD, SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, JAX-WS, WS-Security and MTOM. Demonstrated experience with web technologies in a J2EE environment, including Servlets, JSP, Java/J2EE, HTTP, HTML, XML, XSLT, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC/Hibernate, iBatis, RMI, and application servers (i.e. WebLogic). Experience with common web frameworks such as Struts and/or Spring. Experience with RDBM servers in general, preferably Oracle database servers. Ability to provide technical solutions for large scalable solutions. Experience in software design, development, and build tools, such as Ant, Subversion/CVS, Rational, SQL Developer, and Eclipse based IDEs. Able to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel. Ability to communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
