*Job Title : Websphere MQ and Message Broker* *Location : Tallahassee,NC* *Duration : 6+ Month Contract* Requirements: *Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience *Minimum of 5 years experience in MQ system administration involving implementation, support and planning *Minimum of 3 years experience in MB system administration involving implementation, support and planning. *MQ experience must include configuring the product for performance, monitoring, and high availability *Must possess an understanding of Unix operating systems, with emphasis on Solaris and/or RHEL *Ability to present complex technical topics to management and to external customers in a way that non-technical people can understand *Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, while providing day-to-day support *Use of own cell phone for responding to rotational on call pager TECHINICAL ENVIRONMENT *WebSphere Message Broker version 6.1 - candidate will be expected to drive the project for upgrading to WMB v7. *WebSphere MQ version 7 - variety of technical platforms: Windows, Unix, and mainframe adminstration. *Customer service skillsets important - must have own cell phone for rotational on-call pager for off-hour and weekend support.
