Hi Friends Immediate need to staff a DB2 cubing services consultant. The project is ready to start next week or ASAP we can source the qualified individuals. Below are the key skills we are looking for. This is for our client, have multiple positions, currently require 2 candidates one for Miami and other is Seattle. the position in Miami is top priority for now.
Rate: 55/hr corp-corp (plus expenses for out of state candidates.) Location: Miami, FL / Seattle, WA ( if not local travel expense will be paid and can go home on weekends) Duration: 6 months ( will extend further with good performance), they will be needing more resources later around 6 -7. *What makes up a Cubing resource? * * *DB2 skills * * *Dimensional modeling *- understanding OLAP technology ; what is what you want to do? * *Designing the cubes *.. defining the cubes in cubing services * Basic understand to set up *connection with Cognos or Excel *.. how to format the results ? * *SQW *if need to populate * *MDX *good to know .. but not absolute necessary .. very rare to get from customer want to do for complex analysis .. only reason to use .. mdx base calculation * *Cognos tools *- good to know ..but usually Cognos resource provides this skill - Analysis Studio / Report Studio / Framework manager ... simple query tool * have to set up connectivity ..
