Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Sr BI Developers W/ data mining Exp. Position: 2 Duration: 1+ Year Contract Location: Chicago, IL C2C: Yes Interview: F2F may require after Telephonic Description: The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will report to the Business Intelligence team which is responsible for Data Warehouse modeling & design, ETL development, Enterprise reporting - analysis, requirements gathering and report development. The ideal candidate should demonstrate thorough knowledge of BI, data warehouse development, and data analysis. Responsibilities: - Contribute substantially in the Data Warehouse development lifecycle including gathering and understating of requirements, data and ETL design, database and report development, and testing using SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence Development tools - Integration Services, Analysis Services & Reporting Services. - Design and build new data aggregations for ongoing data analysis and reporting. - Utilize data analysis techniques and queries to provide ad-hoc reports, analysis, and datasets based on business needs. - Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend and implement process improvements. - Provide expert advice and consultation on data structures. - Work with other teams to understand business rules and interpret data. - Maintain an ongoing knowledge of both the technical data model and the business' strategic needs. Requirements: - 5+ years of IT experience with core expertise in data analysis, query design, and reporting. Experience designing and developing simple to complex data models. - Highly proficient in Transact SQL. - Highly proficient in MS SQL Server. - Extensive experience using Microsoft's SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS - Experience creating Data Mining Models in SSAS - Hands on experience building dashboard, scorecards, and KPI's. - Experience working with data warehousing concepts, terminology and architecture. - Strong analytical, multi-tasking and problem solving skills. - Strong communication and teamwork skills Pluses: - Implementation, installation, configuration of business intelligence platforms. - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. - Experience using SPSS - Background in statistics Thanks & Regards Acer Mc Entellects Corp.
