Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Data Analyst/Business Analyst Position: 2 Duration: 5+ months Location: Chicago, IL Interview: Direct F2F Description: - Gather and document data mapping rules, business rules and business requirements to support ICD code translation. - Perform simulation and modeling of ICD code data for testing analysis (most likely loaded into a relational data format) to support rules and requirements validation. - Understand and analyze Health Care Claim Data to identify potential application integration Issues, compliance and create trend analysis reports. - Create and provide metrics for Steering Committee and Sr. Management. Skills Required: - Heavy experience using relational tables for data analysis and system proto-tying. - Experience using data management software, specifically MS Access and SQL Server, to write and execute SQL queries, data forms, and data reports. - Experience with additional data management software and tools a plus. - Mainframe TSO (including Mainframe FTP), and DB2 query experience a plus. Additional information: - Support business and application analysis to remediate ICD-10 and ICD-9 code clinical mapping efforts. - Provide analytical support to help identify systemic risks and opportunities resulting from the ICD mapping and rule definition efforts. - Create and present milestone and compliance metrics to project leadership.
