Currently information that is used to make decisions is scattered and hard to locate. Lack of information aggregation results in making business decisions without all of the information. The business intelligence applications that will be developed in this application will aggregate all of the information from a variety of sources, then display that information in a variety of dash boards that will facilitate clear information and decision making. Daily Responsibilities: . Develop expert understanding of how an application is used by customers in their daily business/processes. a.. Monitor application health / indicators on agreed upon intervals. b.. Partner/influence vendors to understand application roadmap & implications to Intel c.. Hold vendors accountable for the contractual agreements & support SLA and drive license costs downward d.. Develop application strategies/roadmaps to consolidate apps, move to the enterprise, and reduce total cost of ownership to Intel e.. Be part of project implementations using Agile, including developing project epics, stories, UATs (with customer) and coordinate and perform project testing (with customer). Necessary Skills (Must Have): a.. 5+ years experience windows system administration experience b.. Working knowledge of SQL* Server, SQL* Database Administration, SQL* DTS, SQL* Clustering, Web Clustering, and IIS administration c.. Experience with Web application support d.. Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous environment with shifting priorities e.. Demonstrated ability to multitask - work on multiple efforts simultaneously f.. Certification in MC-ITP Server Administration, MC-ITP Enterprise Administration and MC-ITP Database 2008 Administration would be an added advantage g..
