Currently information that is used to make decisions is scattered and hard to locate. Lack of information aggregation results in making business decisions without all of the information. The business intelligence applications that will be developed in this application will aggregate all of the information from a variety of sources, then display that information in a variety of dashboards that will facilitate clear information and decision making. Daily Responsibilities: Work with Business Analyst to Collect and understand customer requirements and identify critical short term priorities to include in initial BI dashboard roll-out by EOY 2010 a.. Provide coding, using industry standard Microsoft SQL query language, and associated reporting and analytics tools. b.. Partner with Database Architect, Database Administrator and KTBR to ensure database design is optimized for end user performance. c.. Proactively conduct performance analysis and address gaps to improve performance d.. Anticipate system related problems and inefficiencies, and as part of a response group, tactically react to system related emergencies as they arise. e.. Develop ET&L systems Necessary Skills (Must Have): a.. Agile development experience a must b.. Excellent Written and Verbal skills (including meeting management) in English. c.. Self-motivated and well organized. Able to work on diverse teams d.. Ability to multitask - balance multiple project responsibilities. e.. Solid understanding of computer systems including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity, and how given solutions will affect a system as a whole. f.. Understanding of various client and/or server architectures, operating system build technologies, system patching, system auditing; as well as server build processes g.. Must have experience with application development using C#, ASP.Net, SQL, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS h.. Experience with Business Intelligence application development projects and E, T, & L strategies and implementations. i..
