Detailed Description: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1. A minimum of three (3) years experience performing all of the tasks associated with the development and implementation of geospatial database components in support of enterprise information systems. 2. Knowledge of terminology, concepts and techniques relating to geospatial database components and GIS application programming. 3. Knowledge of terminology and concepts of Oracle databases or similar relational databases, including SQL proficiency. 4. Knowledge of the installation, configuration, and use of ESRI?s ArcGIS, ArcSDE & ArcGIS Server software. 5. Ability to measure performance and tune geospatial application database queries. 6. Ability to create custom data extracts and files in various formats as requested by enterprise application teams, end user offices, and external customers (i.e. flat files, geospatial shape files, etc.). 7. Ability to accurately estimate time requirements for database conversion tasks and to prioritize, schedule and assign tasks as appropriate. 8. Ability to complete projects on time. 9. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with others. 10. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical staff.
