Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Job : Windows Admin w/ Scripting Languages Exp Location : Glendale, CA Duration : 4+ Months Must learn the current architecture of several different Disney platforms and assist client lead in designing an implementation plan for an offshore data center. Candidate will be responsible for creating knowledge transfer documentation and ramping up offshore resources. QUALIFICATIONS a.. B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience b.. Typically has 5 or more years experience with relevant internet technologies and with implementing, administering, and supporting development, testing and production websites and backend support systems c.. Minimum 2 years experience as Build Manager or similar role d.. Minimum 2 years of working in Java based environments e.. Experience with source code management tools - CVS, Perforce, and Subversion f.. Experience with various development support tools - Wiki, JIRA, and Crucible g.. Strong analytical and problem solving skills h.. Experience debugging and troubleshooting during builds and deployments i.. Ability to lead development of build best practices in complex environments j.. Ability to work in cross-departmental teams and to interact effectively with other members of the organization k.. Strong oral, written communications skills l.. Good team player, able to drive resolution of technical issues SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED a.. Windows and UNIX/LINUX system administration experience, including expertise in system installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance, capacity planning, monitoring, and security procedures b.. Web (IIS, Apache) and Java application (Tomcat, Jboss, etc) server expertise including installation, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, preventative maintenance, capacity planning, monitoring, and security procedures c.. Network and connectivity troubleshooting skills d.. Understanding of internet protocols such as HTTP, DNS, FTP, TCP, SSH, SSL, HTML, XML, JDBC, SNMP, etc, and how they work together e.. Understanding of high availability systems design and implementation including load balancing, session management, cluster management, redundancy and failover testing f.. Experience in at least two relevant scripting or programming languages (Perl, Ant, Shell, etc.) g.. Knowledge of content management systems and publishing systems h..
