The ideal candidate will have a very strong technical foundation as well as a strategic mindset, good communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others. *Skills Required* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technology and software including Windows, IIS (5.0, 6.0, 7.0), SQL2000, 2005, 2008)ASP/ASP.NET(1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0) and Web Services. Deep technical understanding of ASP.NET versions specializing in application tuning and best practices Deep technical understanding of Windows Service Offerings: IIS, Media Services, Terminal Services Experience managing system and user configuration across large, distributed environments Strong troubleshooting mindset (i.e. parsing event log, sysinternals tools, analyzing memory dumps) Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design and engineering documents, operational runbooks) Experience giving presentations, strong communication skills Initiative and ability to work in a self-directed manner *Skills Desired* Understanding of XML, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, XHTML, DHTML Experience with Load Balancer and Proxy Technologies a Plus (f5, Bluecoat, Cisco) Scripting ability (whether with PowerShell, WMI, VBScript, etc.) Experience with virtualization technologies (i.e. VMware, XenServer, Citrix) is a plus It has been a pleasure writing to you.
