Mangers Note: Testers should have worked on latest technologies in .NET and some development exp will be a huge plus. Software Design Engineer in Testing The Enterprise Architecture team is currently working on a project to deliver a next-generation service oriented architectural framework which will define the basis of future product development at the client site. This product family architecture will be leveraged by many different products and customers over time and will be built using the latest .NET 4.0 technologies. This framework will make it easy for internal and partner developers to rapidly create new and modify existing applications on the Open Solutions platform. We are staffing up a small team of A-level players for this unique challenge and we’re seeking an experienced Software Design Engineer in Test to be an integral part of this team. You’ll be bringing your years of experience writing code and testing systems to bear as a hard-core agile .NET developer/tester driving product quality through designing, developing and automating tests. Duties Include · Working with developers, architects and program managers to design, develop and implement test plans and automated testing strategies · Thinking through all of the ways the product could possibly fail and building tests around those scenarios · Augmenting developer-created unit tests to increase test effectiveness and code coverage · Design and develop custom test tools as required · Debug complex problems in a distributed, service oriented application, then design and implement fixes · Utilize the latest Visual Studio 2010 toolset for creating and managing test cases as well as executing load testing, performance testing and end to end testing · Utilizing Visual Studio Lab Management 2010 for our end-to-end automated testing environment · Participate in the scrum agile development process · Influence the architecture, design and planning process to increase testability of the application Qualifications 4+ years experience developing and testing with .NET and C# B.S. Computer Science Extensive experience with .NET 3.5, C# and related technologies such as WCF, WPF, WF Experience and familiarity with .NET 4.0 preferred Strong development background a must Extensive experience with the testing tools included in Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 absolutely required, experience with Visual Studio 2010 highly desired Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business problems Ability to think broadly and outside of the box, coming up with creative ways to break the product, fix the product and increase testability of the product Strong SQL skills a plus, in particular with Oracle Strong problem solving skills Deep knowledge of software engineering and computer science fundamentals Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems Solid experience with Agile development, in particular Scrum End to end experience across the entire software development lifecycle Track record of shipping production-ready, high-quality software Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative effort ================================================================== Sr. .NET Lead Required Skills for this position: Number of yrs exp on each skills required along with the resume.
