The incumbent possesses a broad range of knowledge of practices and procedures within the field and acts a resource for Programmer Analysts 1. Work is varied and fairly complex. The Programmer Analyst 2 is responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed systems and devising computer programs, systems, and related procedures to process data.
