We have an urgent opening for *Infrastrucuture Project Manager *in* Deerfield, Illinois. ** Duration : *3+ Month Contract to hire for a Perfect Candidate * * - 20% Plan project activities and deliverables - 40% Monitor and control project activities - 25% Manage execution of project activities - 10%Support technical aspects of projects - 5% Close project *Specialized/Practical Knowledge: * - 3-5 years Project Management experience, PMP Certification preferred - 3-5 years within the Information Technology industry - 1-3 years specific to management of application projects - 1-3 years experience with process development skills - 1-3 years experience with Quality Systems such as CMMI, and ITIL - Strong analytical skills and expertise with relevant software tools (project software, word processing, spreadsheet, database, - presentation, flowcharting) - Knowledge of Web technologies - SOX regulations and experience in FDA regulated environment. *Management Skill: * - Ideal candidate should be proactive, organized, methodical, and require little oversight to remain productive and effective. - Candidate must be able to manage own work efforts with minimal day-to-day direction - Candidate must be able to organize and delegate work to project team members as well as follow-up until item is completed - Manages at the project level and provides guidance for project resources completing assigned tasks *Interaction: * - Able to communication diplomatically with client for resolution of issues - Demonstrates ability to communicate clear and concrete project information to project members. - Primarily interacts with project team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery. - Maintains regular contact with Service Delivery and / or Account Manager regarding status, issues and risks. - Maintains regular contact with internal management regarding project status. - Maintains regular contact with functional leaders.
