Need a strong Oracle Developer with ETL experience for a Contract opportunity in Southern, California.
Job Description
In an effort to improve ETL efficiency the Client needs an Oracle Developer who will handle the Oracle development and ETL responsibilities toward creating a fully functioning datamart. This is a “Critical Position” requiring a professional that is motivated and able to work independently. The candidate will be expected to handle data extraction in an effort to make the datamart fully functional, keeping the datamart up-to-date, and to load data from an Oracle database source. Responsibilities to also include being able to verify data integrity, generate tests and charts, report datamart activity and to monitor usage. To do this the candidate must have prior working experience using SQL Scripts as an ETL tool.
Job Requirement
Candidates must have hands-on experience and a relevant background as an Oracle Database developer using SQL Scripts for ETL purposes.
Must have prior Datamart environment experience.
Must be motivated and work independently.
Needs to understand that the Client business depends heavily on submitting data efficiently and reliably.
Must be a strong communicator, able to work with other groups as needed, someone able to work efficiently in a multi-cultural environment
Technical Skills
Oracle PL/ SQL Development
Strong SQL Scripts
ETL development experience
Datamart environment experience
