*No of Openings(available) - 1* *Bill rate: Open* *Expected Start Date -1/Sep/2010* *Employment Type - Regular* *Deployment Location - USA::TX::AUSTIN* *Primary Technology - Others* *Job Description* - - Demonstrated ability to assist clients with taking their business strategy and defining a PeopleSoft systems architecture to support that strategy. - The candidate must be able to understand the client's business, possess good written and verbal communication skills; be self-confident and be able to work independently and collaboratively. - The candidate will assist in performing strategic planning services to support the development, management, coordination, and institutionalization of missions, visions, and long-term and short-term goals and objectives to support a multi-generational PeopleSoft implementation for a global client. - This support includes working with stakeholders to ensure linkage between stakeholder satisfaction and strategic goals. *Requirements*: - Must have 6+ years PeopleSoft HCM . - Strong business and HR background and a solid understanding of HR business processes. - 2+ years Enterprise Architect experience with full life-cycle implementation experience. - Proven experience with systems implementation, data conversion, data reconciliation, user training and documentation. - Deadline driven. - Demonstrated leadership abilities. * Job Duties*: - Manage a team of BA's supporting the PeopleSoft global implementation. - Manage consulting and contract resources. - Provide functional expertise and direction to on-shore and off-shore teams. - Meet quality, schedules, milestones and budgets. - Plan and estimate effort for tasks in order to manage project and operation expectations. - Work closely with business users and manage/set priorities/goals and work toward these goals. - Day-to-Day application support and troubleshooting, including responding to end-user questions and trouble tickets. - Communicate with business users to identify critical and high-value business needs that should be implemented in underlying business application software. - Identify key enhancements and/or re-engineering opportunities as well as documentation of business requirements at a level of detail that will support project design. - Work closely with the business during key processes, such as benefits and year-end processing and reporting. - Assist with the creation and documentation of test scripts and test plans. - Assist with testing of system code and configuration changes to validate the PeopleSoft design and implementation. - Assist with the development, coordination and administration of PeopleSoft end-user training. - Required to carry a cell phone and be on call outside of normal work hours. *Pluses*: - PeopleSoft v9.1 experience. - Experience with both custom developed and package applications. - Strong and proven project management skills. - Negotiation and influence skills - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Ability to create a positive team oriented work environment. - Global implementation experience -- Thanks Guru, || IT-SCIENT || E-mail:[email protected] <e-mail%[email protected]>|| Phone: 510.972.5246 || Fax: 877.701.4872 -- Thanks Guru, || IT-SCIENT || E-mail: [email protected] <e-mail%[email protected]>|| Phone: 510.972.5246 || Fax: 877.701.4872 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
