*Position Overview:*

·        Develop new user interfaces and enhancing existing ones across
several devices including IP phone micro-browsers, mobile phones, PDAs, web
applications and thick clients.

·        Collaborate with product managers and company partners to
understand and advance business, marketing and branding objectives.

·        Work with subject matter experts and backend engineers to develop
functionally advanced and culturally appealing interfaces.

·        Propose and implement changes to existing designs working within
established templates and conventions.

·        Develop low fidelity functional design prototypes to demonstrate
proof of concepts.

·        Participate in the full development cycle through QA.

·        Stay abreast of the latest trends and emerging technologies in user
interface development.

·        Show product ownership and strong interpersonal skills.



*Education Required:*

The position requires at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or
related field and 3-15 years of software development experience.



*Background / Experience Required:*

·        2+ years experience creating Rich Internet Applications using Adobe
Flex and ActionScript 3.

·        Understanding of issues building applications that run in both AIR
and browsers.

·        Practical experience creating user interface software with
Microsoft or Adobe development tools.

·        Experience using Adobe BlazeDS and Spring application platform
along with building applications in a java / J2EE environment.

·        Firm understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) along
with practical development experience with web service technologies (SOAP,
XML, WSDL, HTML, etc.).

·        Worked with cross-functional teams as well as practical experience
in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

·        Knowledgeable in developing customer-facing web applications with
large user bases.

·        Human Factors and Graphic Design skills are highly desirable.

·        Strong rapid prototype engineering skills.

·        Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills.

·        Experience in International Graphical User Interface design and
implementation is desirable.
