*Duration : 4+ months (high possibility for extension) * * * *Max Rate : $40/hr on C2C (Pls don’t negotiate on rate)* ** We are looking for Build DBA consultant with around 5+ years of exp. · SKILL SET: - Must have knowledge of IT concepts such as DB design, DB layout, DB structures, DB stored procedures, DB tables, DB optimization, TCP/IP, IT security concepts and practices; interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills. - Knowledge and practical experience with: AIX, SUN Solaris, Linux, LDAP, Proficient Shell scripting skills - Display a good understanding of both the RDBMS and the underlying operating system including but not limited to: n Database performance tuning, replication, Data Guard, High Availability (Oracle RAC), monitoring tools and tuning procedures. n Strong database management skills including backup and recovery best practices in a high-availability environment. - Solid skills in productivity factors and the ability to understand impact of problem on overall database performance - Knowledge of fault detection and resolution processes - Strong skills in maintenance tools and best practices processes. - Up-to-date understanding of PII Security standards and impacts to security modelling. - Ability to independently provide project cost and time estimates for database related tasks Thanks Satish [email protected] JB Software & Consultants. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
