Position: Team Lead Java developer
Location NYC or Jersey City.
Industry Financial Services.
Duration:1 Year
Development Lead
1. This is not just a project manager role; the candidate will be
a Tech Lead 95% of the time.
2. Deep understanding of Software Development life cycles (i.e.
Design Patterns, Best Practices, etc.).
a. Good understanding of methodologies. Great technical skills in
Java and Sybase.
b. Will be guiding and working with (skilled) developers on their
team.
c. Should have past experience to prove that the candidate has
worked at architecture/design level and also involved in
coding/code reviews with the developers.
3. Ideally the candidate should have led a team of 5+ individuals
as Tech Lead (not just Project Manager)
4. Overall, the candidate does not need as much Financial
Services industry knowledge but it is a big plus.
a. If the candidate does not have industry knowledge, they should
be excellent as tech leads.
