* * *Position: Lead Automation Tester with good SQL Exp.* *Location: Richmond, VA* *Duration: 3-4 Months* *Rate: Open* *JD:* · The tester will be required to interpret the requirements, create a test strategy, derive test cases suitable for manual and automated tests. · Schedule and drive test plan and test case reviews. · *SQL knowledge - move and create data - sql structures - very important* · data services testing – soapUI · XML messaging · The system will allow users to create Illustrations based on various annuity data, which follows a simple model, and displays the illustration in a format the agent can use to show forecasted policy values. · There are calculations however actuarial team would validate the calculations at the source admin system and those same calcs would just need to be matched against a source value. · Test automation would be required on QTP and some Data Services validation with SoapUI. · Both team members would be required to work closely with the team to follow the same standards and processes established for testing. The Producer Pro system is Java based, runs on WebLogic and Oracle. The System connections which feed Producer Pro are distributed across R&P. There are over 20 systems and databases which feed and support Producer Pro. Too many to mention. It will be critical that the onshore lead has strong capability in a distributed system, to understand the business behind the system and understand the different sources of data and fed to this system.
