Need Business Intelligence Developer Location: NY Duration: 6 months plus *Pentaho experience is a must have* *Start Date* ASAP *End Date* 3/12/2011 *Number of Contractor(s)* 2 *Role of Contractor * Business Intelligence Developer *Activities * A BI developer with hands-on experience designing and developing BI solutions - Create new reports, dashboards - Queries, analyzes, and interprets complex data stored in the target systems - Identify data quality issues and see through to resolution - Work closely with BA to gather and validate requirements through interviews with business users and developers of existing systems - Test and validate data flow and reports *Software /Technology Skills Required * -Knowledge of financial services - Experience using BI tools and reporting - Work experience in data warehouse environment - data replication, extraction, transformation, loading and cleansing - Strong SQL scripting *Soft Skills and Prior Work Experience (i.e. communication, prior work and longevity)* Skills preferred: - Agile Methodology project delivery experience.
