Let me know if you have any consultants with the following skills Senior Web Designer 3+ Month Contract Boston, MA C2C $45 per hour Sr Web designer with previous experience with Adobe creative suite, great comm skills, and experience with wide range of environments and tools for best strategies. Primary responsibilities · Become familiar with the client publishing and business environment. · Become familiar with a usability study, competitive analysis, and web redesign roadmap developed in recent vendor engagements. · Understand the interrelated goals of both the top level client portal and customer goals for improved page layout, design, and autonomy. · Create design prototypes, including graphical elements, site navigation, and layout of content, for the main client website and subsites using an iterative process. · Ensure the content and page elements on each template produced are designed with an underlying semantic structure in mind. · Create visual concepts that match client's content and the branding strategy, and also that ensure that individual subsites are easy to identify and navigate. · Build design templates using technologies that conform to international standards and make sure that they are universally accessible. · Develop a Style Guide for technical and content editors to include branding/standard guidelines for recreating the layout, composition, typography, color palette, and images of the new website. The new visual design must: · Support a new navigation structure currently in development and being fully spec'd out by the team. · Ensure that the visual aspects of the new navigation, page layouts, CMS templates, etc. enable website visitors to quickly complete their tasks, whether they are navigating from the homepage, reaching us via deep links from external search engines, or navigating between the top level website and its subsites. · Accommodate the integration of established and emerging social media and web 2.0 tools where appropriate · Present a positive image of Massachusetts as a place to live, work and play · Reinforce client as a strong master brand while supporting subordinate brands that reflect each agency's unique mission, goals and audience. · Improve overall usability and address outstanding issues identified in the Usability Test Report. · Leverage the recommendations from the Competitive Analysis Report. Experience · 5+ years work/design experience · Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 3+ (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver). · A working knowledge of PC-based programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook · Solid understanding of designing for the web and what works on the web · Expertise/experience in: info graphic design, web design, interactive design, · Understanding of how visual designs are translated to the web using HTML, CSS and JavaScript · Extremely good typography skills, great color sense and a sharp eye for layout · Must have a current and review-ready portfolio · Knowledge of accessible/universal design principles · Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) · Understand how the content and page elements should be developed with an underlying semantic structure in mind Thanks & Regards, Nagesh, Zip Logic LLC.
