Need Websphere Message Broker (WMB) Developer – Specialist 3 (Sr. Level)
Duration:- 14 months (work week consists of 35 hrs. with 1 hr. unpaid lunch)
Location – Brooklyn, NY ( Local candidates preferred as *F2F interview is
mandatory*
Citizen, GC’s or H1B’s are Ok.
Rate:- $62/hr

The NYCDOE anticipates this contract will last for approximately Fourteen
(14) months and with an estimated start date of October 25, 2010.

Specialist III – Websphere Message Broker (WMB) Developer




   1. *Job Overview: *

**The Websphere Message Broker (WMB) developer will be part of the
implementation team providing expert knowledge and hands on development
skills as needed to implement Messaging, transformation and routing.

 The developer will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

   - Design and Develop message sets, maps, message flows and
   configure/develop adaptors
   - Understand and guide other development teams around best practices to
   create web services or any other appropriate integration end-points
   - Conducting interface requirements analysis of current NYCDOE business
   applications
   - Deploying integration components in development / test environments
   - Develop components as needed in Java or ESQL


   1. *Key capabilities / competencies:** *


   - 10 + years of progressive IT industry experience
   - Minimum 5 years of experience with IBM Websphere Message Broker (WMB
   6.1+) development
   - Any experience with Rational HATS and related products will be a strong
   plus
   - Must have hands on experience with software development lifecycle,
   object-oriented analysis and design, high competency in Java application
   design and development
   - Must have a firm understanding of concepts and technologies such as
   SOA, Messaging, Transformation Engines, Web Services, and Data Integration
   techniques
   - Experienced in J2EE(EJB, JCA, JTA,etc.), Web Services(XML, SOAP, WSDL,
   UDDI, BEPL etc), JMS, WMQ, ESQL


   - Experience developing .NET based services and MSMQ will be strong plus


   - Must be able to present architectural solutions as visual models in the
   form of diagrams, charts, and graphs
   - Ability to communicate effectively
      - In English, both written and orally
      - In a credible and confident manner at all levels in the
      organization, especially on technical issues.
