*Duration: Long term* * * *Note :Prefer local candidate as in-person interview will be there.* * * *Responsibilities:* • Design and build data integration components, including compliated SQL statements for use in IBM/Ascential DataStage EE programs, Oracle and Teradata database views, and UNIX shell scripts, to cleanse and transform data from a variety of sources into a Teradata database. • Contribute data integration tool and method expertise to architecture and approach exercises to maintain consistency and standardization within the business intelligence environment. • Provide direction and assist in proactive management of the DataStage EE environment by monitoring performance and capacity and making tuning, planning and application design recommendations to best leverage investments in computing resources. • Conduct and participate in code reviews with an emphasis on mentoring and providing oversight to resources with limited experience. • Assist and support analysis and data discovery activities in profiling and documenting quality of source data to be used with the warehouse. • Assist development DBAs in creation and tuning of database views, procedures and indexes within both Teradata v12 and Oracle 9i environments. • Support testing, migration and production project lifecycle phases through incident resolution, job monitoring and source control configuration. • This role may evolve over time to include broader database and end-user report development.
