Location: Reston, VA (They may travel weekly once to Portland, Maine) Duration: 6 months * * *Daily Responsibilities:* ? Working with a business liason to assess data issues and discrepancies across multiple systems ? Accessing multiple DBs, data mining, querying, scripting ? Analyzing data issues in order to come up with workable solutions or requirements for IT ? Determining customer issues by analyzing the symptoms and figuring out the underlying problem ? Providing weekly reports on customer issues *Qualifications:* ? Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university ? Minimum of 5 years of Telco Ordering experience ? Minimum of 2 years of Lavastorm development experience ? Experience with Oracle, Siebel, MetaSolv ? At least 5 years of Telecom experience ? 2+ years of experience in Wholesale ? 2+ years of experience with customer facing ? Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language ? Experience with databases ? Can demonstrate knowledge of the cable and telecommunications industries *Preferred: * ? Can demonstrate flexibility to meet and exceed company and client expectations ? Demonstrated ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation ? Can demonstrate poise, confidence and professional maturity to interface with senior-level executives in a clear and concise manner ? Self-starter requiring minimal supervision ? Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multi-task assignments ? Experience in a consulting and/or IT environment is preferred ?
