Please let me know if you have someone available for the below mentioned position of PeopleSoft Financial Functional Analyst at Indianapolis, IN *Position Title* – PeopleSoft Financial Functional Analyst *Location* – Indianapolis, IN *Duration* – 4 Months *Description* Incumbent works at the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s (IFSSA) central office and serves as a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst, performng system administration activities, and reports to Deputy Director or higher level staff within the Office of Administrative Services. The incumbent is responsible for the accountable processing involving procuring of goods and services, accounting for fixed assets, the processing of claims and disbursement of funds to employees, grantees, vendors, landlords, and other service providers. *Responsibilities* Responsible for maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software and its components; Provides resolutions to technical problems; Responsible for testing, debugging, and documentation of system software upgrades and new releases; Creates and develops learning tools, including but not limited to guides, job aids and internet-based training tools (Oracle UPK); Mentors and provides guidance to new and lower level staff; May be responsible for quality assurance review of system software; Evaluates new and existing PeopleSoft modules and other software products; May perform as team lead in assigned area; May oversee multiple projects or project phases; Administer end-user access and security; Develop innovative procedures and methods through understanding of product capabilities, and utilizes those capabilities in unique ways, to fully use products on the system and meet user's goals and objectives; Assists management with short/long-range planning for hardware and software changes and additions, and prepares reports which assist management in understainding the current hardware/software conditions, performance and future trends: Prepare reports which assist management in understanding the current hardware/software conditions, performance and future trends; *Skills* Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of public accounting and auditing; Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws, policies and procedures as they pertain to auditing, accounting, claims disbursement, payroll, fixed assets and bookkeeping; Thorough knowledge of information PeopleSoft Financials; Extensive knowledge of agency programs and their interaction with the Finance Division; Specialized knowledge of automated claims systems; ENCOMPASS and CMS; Ability to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with other information technology support staff; Ability to solve complex problems; Thorough knowledge of maintenance, configuration of system software and relational databases; Thorough knowledge in the use of tools and utilities to perform the system work; Thorough knowledge to test, debug, and document system software components; Ability to plan and conduct professional and complex research; Ability to organize, prioritize and manage workflow; Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; Ability to develop effective working relationships with staff at all levels; Ability to analyze, communicate and recommend future needs and direction for agency's financial software environment.
