I have an open position in Wilmington, DE for a Release Manager. It is a 6 month + contract. The description is below. This position is basically a Mid Level Project Management type with strong knowledge and some participation in any phase of the SDLC (QA, Dev, Build etc.) Looking for someone with 3-5 years experience in project/release management with an excellent performance and attendance record. Strong knowledge of ITIL concepts ITIL certifications a plus Extremely customer-focused; positive professional attitude Intelligent self-motivated quick learner Pays strict attention to detail understands importance of accuracy and responsiveness and a strong sense of urgency Strong PC and Internet skills Excellent oral and written communications skills Very strong organizational task management and prioritization skills Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced dynamic environment Ability to work well with peers and all levels of management Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Ability to set and meet rational timelines and deadlines Experience with full software development lifecycle Quality Center and/or CA-Unicenter experience a plus B.S. in Computer Science or related subject Responsible for promoting the highest level of quality in all technology releases by managing the end to end release process the Release Manager is the single point of contact for approved releases within the Business Technology Group.
