Duration * 6 months to start with* Location in NJ* Florham Park, NJ* Citizens required * * *Rate – Open* * * Client is currently using a managed approach to its IT Infrastructure for services through cooperative agreements with several outsourced vendors. While Client owns its on-site data centers and manages the physical facilities, the outsourced venders maintain and/or own the application layer, hardware, operating system, etc. Client GIS is undertaking a new initiative to improve and enhance the Citrix, VDI and SBC based hardware/application platform infrastructure required to support a unified and consistent virtual desktop/application environment for Client associates on a global basis. GIS has prepared an Enhanced Virtual Operations (EVO) technology model employing a suite of technologies including CITRIX and other virtual enabling technologies to develop this platform and GIS delivered end-to-end service. Per GIS policy, this new service and encompassing components, procedures and documents will be *qualified in order to utilize industry best practices and be able to support validated applications*. Client GIS seeks a resource to take responsibility for the development of the required Qualification package for the EVO Service. This professional resource will work *on-site at the GIS facility in Florham Park, NJ *to gather and review appropriate GIS procedures and manuals, develop the information, identify gaps where present and produce the document set required to meet the requirements of the Client Global IT Quality System. Through this engagement, the role includes researching and consolidating information through interviews and meetings, contributing best practice in regulatory guidance, developing, writing and revising the required documents for the qualification package and assisting the team as directed by the primary sponsors. *Requirements;* * * *“This is typical Infrastructure SME role who will be responsible to validate the new initiatives such as Citrix, VDO with existing IT policies and come up with gap analysis and recommendations. In my view this is typical role we play when we want to evaluate the operational readiness of the new technology infrastructure, by talking to all stakeholders - users, IT staff, AD teams and Third party service providers.”* The objective of this engagement is to develop a complete Qualification package for the current Infrastructure initiative according to the current Global IT Quality Manual. The package will be developed in compliance with GIS Quality Policy manual which will be made available at project initiation. It will move the new service from plan through design, test package creation and reporting of results/ deviations as the qualification process proceeds. The overall scope of the engagement is as follows: • Understand the GIS Quality System and provide documents to meet that requirement, in conjunction with Client IT Compliance • Develop the actual package by analyzing available documentation, Researching/ requesting missing materials, writing and revising the deliverables, as well as preparing reports at the finish of the effort. It is expected that a compliance and risk-based approach will be incorporated in the delivery of the package (e.g.: plans, design documents, SOPs, templates, forms, protocols, etc.) • Develop PowerPoint slides for training as/ if requested to assist with the use of documents by new team members within the project.
