Thanks for your help!! *A few very important things to keep in mind specific to this opening: * *1)This position is looking for an SAP Project Manager to manage SAP Infrastructure and ERP Implementation projects - background in both is required.* *2) Will do phone interview first, but will require face to face interview in Chicago at candidates expense.* *3) Candidates must be Greencard holder or U.S. Citizen only.* *4) This is a global implementation project, candidates with global implementation experience strongly preferred. * *5) Local Chicago candidates are preferred, but not required.* *Position: SAP Project Manager* *Location: Chicago* *Target Rate: $Open- all-inclusive * *Duration: 10 months + * *Job Description:* The project manager will oversees the migration and cut over activities of infrastructure and application for a large SAP ERP initiative which includes a number of peripheral interfacing systems. - Coordinate and own the planning, development and implementation of an SAP large implementation as well as peripheral interfacing applications. - Lead the coordination with technical teams to communicate business unit requirements. - Develop requirement into a deliverable roadmap communicating what feature/functionality will be delivered including timeline. -Experience managing database migration projects. -Experience managing infrastructure projects with large numbers of Servers, routers, switches, firewalls. -Extensive experience leading projects focused on IT Infrastructure in an enterprise level environment . Is responsible for managing all aspects of diverse, moderately complex to complex IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality and cost. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates. Projects involve multiple disciplines in the IT function; individuals who manage projects exclusively in one aspect of IT, such as ERP implementation or applications development, should be matched to the specific position for that specialty. Typically requires six to eight years of related experience *Additional Notes:* - This is a Global SAP implementation project that will cross over Infrastructure and SAP ERP systems. - Will require cutover and data migration from Legacy to SAP ERP systems. - Will be responsible for documentation and development of all detailed project plans as the client prepares for the Go-live date. - SAP ECC 6.0 - All SAP customization has already been accomplished, Project Manager will be responsible for Data Migration and Implementation projects.
