We have an urgent requirement for Product Manager and Oracle DBA with our client at Cisco - San Jose - CA Below is the description. Title : Product Manager Service Acceleration Product Manager position Project Description The successful candidate will be able to work cross-functionally, and will have a proven track record in both project management and in managing a software technology product, and in successfully facing the lifecycle and engineering process challenges that this entails. Responsibilities: 1. Drive multiple project tracks for Service Acceleration program in different lifecycle stages. 2. Actively collaborate with Entitlement Framework (EF) team by providing and articulating Service Acceleration business requirements and relevant use cases. 3. Support Proof of Concept (POC) development and prototyping to showcase solution options that leverage reusable SOA web services. 4. Attend and run Service Acceleration Project meetings, prepare presentation materials, provide Entitlement perspective and submit bi- weekly status. 5. Project point of-contact and able to interface effectively and efficiently between business and IT teams. 6. Able to execute technical project deliverables on-time and on- budget, manage multiple project resources to plan; able to escalate issues effectively and achieve resolution. 7. Ability to translate business issues into system solutions, with a demonstrated proficiency in evolving and managing systems development 8. Provide updates to Service Entitlement Team about Service Acceleration projects that impact entitlement operations, be able to assess business process impact points. Requirements 1. Strong Product management experience in taking a technology product from idea to maturity and managing multiple related projects simultaneously. 2. Excellent client engagement and stakeholder management skills. 3. 7+ years of work experience in high tech industry in Product Management and Project Management roles, in the field of global enterprise systems implementation. 4. Prior experience in technology systems performance, latency/ resiliency measurements, and SLA management is very important. 5. Strong analytical skills and broad business knowledge. 6. In-depth knowledge of Product/ Service Lifecycle (PLC) and product development. 7. Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills. 8. Familiarity with modern IT systems, databases and technologies, especially Internet related technologies, data processing, and SOA web services. 9. Prior Cisco experience, especially in service operations, is a plus. 10. BS in computer science or business administration or comparable job experience in related IT positions. Personality/Other Attributes • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with a wide variety of people • Flexible style and approach • Self-starter who is able to get things done; organized and detail oriented • Strong verbal and written communications skills • Quick study with high energy and stamina Prefer candidate worked in Cisco before. Requirement 2 Urgent requirement - Oracle DBA Oracle-certified DBA. 7+ years of DBA experience with wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to: performance tuning, backup and recovery, capacity planning, and database upgrading. Expertise and development experience in PL/SQL and SQL. Track record of delivering quality work on time and ability to expand own expertise Self-motivated, detail and team-oriented Solid verbal and written communication skills Enjoys dynamic, result-oriented work culture Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science. Candidate worked in Cisco before will be a big plus.
