The candidate will be part of a team responsible for engineering processes for large scale distributed data systems and will also be responsible for leading and implementing raw data collection from various heterogeneous sources, data validation and preliminary filtering and transformations. This will include requirements gathering, working with very large data sets in a sensitive production environment, daily maintenance, monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting, problem resolution, data recovery and present and future capacity planning for all of the resources required of the ETL systems being managed.
