Overview:
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to keep an eye on the big picture while addressing the
details needed to ensure that we don’t miss anything critical.
- Must be able to look beyond the detailed requirements to understand
what the business is trying to do / don’t get lost in the details
- Must be able to assess scope and assist in determinations of what can
be done in the time and budget available / determine max value in time and
budget available
- Must be able to design a solid foundation that we can scale and grow
- Must be able to delegate appropriately / collaborate / not try to do
everything
- Must be able to develop and maintain documentation to our standards /
provide feedback on standards where they can be improved
Required:
- 12 years minimum experience in IT Development / Support
- 6 years minimum experience in Business Intelligence Development /
Support
- 2 years experience in ETL development
- Informatica preferred
- 2 years experience in information delivery (reports, cubes,
dashboards)
- Essbase, Business Objects, Discoverer or Siebel / OBIEE preferred
- 2 years experience in DW / BI architecture
- 2 projects implemented
- 2 years experience with Oracle dbms for BI
- BI experience with financial data
- GL marts, P&L marts, GL to sub-ledger reconciliation
- 2 years data modeling / data architecture
- Erwin, Oracle Designer, System Architect or Visio preferred
- Familiar with Kimball warehouse methodology
- MDM experience – using an MDM hub as a data source (e.g. Oracle DRM
(Data Relationship Mgmt), PIM (Product Info Mgmt), UCM (Universal Customer
Master))
Nice to have:
- MDM experience – at least one project thru deployment, turn over to
production
- Data Governance experience – at least one project, part of MDM project
- ESB experience, preferably BEA or Oracle Fusion
- High tech mfg / distribution / sales & marketing experience
- Familiar with enterprise data warehouse / corporate data factory
- Inmon / Imhof models
- BI Experience with manufacturing / product data
- Supply Chain, Product Profitability or Product Master / Hub
- Customer Data Integration
- Enterprise architecture experience
- Near real time BI / Oracle CDC
- Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite)
- 11i or R12 preferred
- Oracle Agile PLCM experience
- Lotus Notes db extract experience
- Open source, cloud computing integration, BI, MDM
- Analytical dbms (e.g. Vertica, Neteeza, ExaData)
