Position Summary* These efforts will be performed in Test, Staging, and Production environments. The candidate supports tasks areas as follows: • Requirements Review and Analysis • Creation of Test Scripts and Test Data for Testing the software enhancements • Defect Identification and Reporting • Support testing activities in all the environments in the code promotion path. • Understanding and compliance with defined processes *II. Qualifications/ Prerequisites:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Demonstrated knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodology Minimum of 4 years Web Applications Testing experience Must have demonstrated skills in using Testing Tools such as Quick Test Pro, Load Runner, Quality Center. Experience must include the ability to write Oracle SQL statements Ability to work well with Project Leads and other project personnel Strong verbal and written communication skills *III. Duties and Responsibilities:* • Analyzes requirements as a member of the project team. • Under minimal direction, designs and develops test scripts and test cases to meet the requirements. • Assists in planning the test cycle for a release and delivering the results. • Applies industry knowledge, business experience, and consulting methodologies to determine accuracy and reasonableness of solutions. • Combines a general understanding of IT with a specialization in Web Application Testing, Hardware and configuration testing. • Understands and uses appropriate tools to conduct daily test activities. • Applies metrics to monitor performance and measure key project criteria. • Participates in special studies, marketing efforts and formal proposals/presentations. • Remains current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies Thanks--------------------------------------------------------------------- Kumar Integrated Technology Services, Inc.
