Role : Systems Architect - GIS Number of Positions : 1 Location: Madison, WI. * * *Note, candidates ideally need to be currently in the upper mid-west for consideration (WI, IL, IA, MN, etc).* Start : ASAP Duration : 2.5 years. Due Date - 1/28 *PROJECT DESCRIPTION:* Application architect to help design and develop a web mapping application for editing spatial features using *Silverlight*. Possesses experience in software design and development with a focus on the integration of internal business systems across multiple functional areas, notably geospatial web mapping and analysis, etc. Possesses experience in design and integration of business applications and enterprise IT infrastructure. Experience with design and development of custom web-based solutions and their deployment in a production environment. Proven methodology experience for complex systems integration projects and demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables on time and on budget. Systems Architects capabilities with 5 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
