Please let me know any suitable consultant for the below requirement: * * *Title: SQL DBA* Location: *Seattle, WA* Duration: *3 months* Interview: *Phone Hire* *SQL Server DBA* The candidate will work with a team of DBAs that support troubleshooting, maintenance and monitoring of the 24x7 Database Infrastructure in production and pre-production environments. The position requires minimum 6+ years as a Database Administrator managing SQL Server Databases. Experience with Oracle and MySQL is also desired. The ideal candidate would also have experience providing technical leadership and mentoring. - Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system. - Work to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high resilience and performance tuning. - To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime (both SQL Server and Oracle interface). - Responsible for providing trend analysis to management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management. - Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL and Oracle development. - Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades. - Responsible for implementation and release of database changes according to agreed timescales and costs. *Required Skills/Experience* - 6+ years IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices - 6+years Microsoft SQL Server experience - In depth SQL Server Database Administration experience, Oracle experience a plus. - Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments - Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques - Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices - Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives - Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills - Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language - Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail - Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment - Experience of Transactional SQL, and DTS stored procedures. - Good written and oral communication skills - Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system. - SQL Server 2005 & 2008 - Database Administration - Database Tuning - Database Management - Database Security *Thanks and Regards,* *Sonika Singh* Next Level Business Services, Inc.
