Uses tools, languages, coding standards and best practices to develop new product features and maintain year over year product functionality and enhancements. Creates and executes unit tests and addresses defects. Works closely with the QA, UX and other related teams to ensure consistent understanding of requirements and approach. May design and document moderately complex technical requirements for business applications. Strong knowledge of one or more development language(s) and tool(s). Must be able to determine and document moderately complex software or system functional specifications. For emerging technologies the experience level may be low, but the ability to learn and experience in similar technologies would be present. Typically 3-5 years of development experience is required to reach this level.
