They will do a face to face interview Responsible for developing and
executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software
applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test
case automation and test execution. Review system use cases and functional
specifications with the appropriate business analyst. Identify potential
problems, omissions and open issues and attend walkthroughs and attend
signoff meetings. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
or other related field, or equivalent work experience in similar work
environment.
Minimum 5 years of IT work experience. Testing background and hands on
experience with test tools (TSO, File-Aid, capture/playback, ClearQuest,
Quality Center).
ITS software knowledge is extremely helpful.
DELIVERABLES: Test Cases, Test execution results and defects.
Must Have: * mainframe * DB2 * CICS * IMS * ability to modify and execute
JCL * medium SQL skills * multi-tasking is essential * self motivated,
requires little supervision * good communicator
Nice to Have: * Automation experience * Blues/Plan experience * ITS

our client are looking for a QA Engineer with a background in Java
Development. This is for a six month contract opportunity in Charlotte, NC.
This position requires the following: A strong technical background,
preferably with some programming experience in a JAVA environment Testing
Automation experience (QTP) Whitebox testing Building test programs and
harnesses Strong SQL experience (able to create complex SQL queries to
access data) AGILE environment is a plus
