Position: DOT NET DEVELOPER Consultant Location: Stamford, CT Duration: 6 Months with possibility of Extension Rate: Best $/Hr All Inclusive Start Date: ASAP Positions: One Job Description: The candidate is required to have strong MS SQL Server 2005 experience coupled with excellent .Net development skills in C# and ASP.Net. Experience in AutoSys, Subversion and VBA will be beneficial. The RAD developer is required to be self sufficient, work independently on projects, work closely with the business, analyse and spec the requirements for the projects (where a business analyst is not available), provide a technical spec, develop, and carry the project through UAT, regression and successful release. At the same time, the candidate will need to work closely with other members of the RAD team, conform to development standards in the team, seek advice and equally contribute to other projects and re-use components that have already been developed. The candidate should have sound experience at all stages of the development lifecycle from analysis and design through to testing and release. Developers typically take responsibility for a development task or project and see it through to completion. This requires a broader range of skills than just pure development and makes for a more interesting and challenging role.
